FAQ

"How do I get to your Hotel from the Airport?"

        When exiting the airport, turn right onto Airport Road. Travel along until you reach a roundabout at which time, proceed through the roundabout and go straight ahead, following the signs to Launceston.  This highway will take you into the outer city area.  At a major intersection the road becomes Bathurst Street. Follow this, in the right or middle lanes until you go under an overpass.  Take the next exit right into Cimitiere Street.Turn 2nd right into St.John Street and then the 2nd left turn into Paterson Street. Quest Launceston is located on the left side between St. John and George Streets.

There are several options for transport from the Launceston Airport.

  1. The Airporter bus service meets all flights at the airport and brings guests to our door ($12.00 p/p). There is no need to book a seat, as they meet all arriving flights.
  2. Taxis are also familiar with our address - just mention Quest Launceston. (Between $35-$40)  
  • "Do you have Apartments with Wheel Chair Access or Disability aids?"

            We have 2 disability access apartments. These apartments have full wheel chair access, a walk-in shower, grab bars, and wall rails in the bathroom, as well as a non-slip floor surface. These apartments are available for either double or twin bedding.

  • "Do you have Car Parking? And how much would it cost?"

              We have guaranteed undercover security car parking (multistory car park directly opposite the building) for $4 per night per car, from the hours of 5pm to 10am the next day. Outside of these hours guests must pay the hourly rates direct to the car park on exit.

  • "Is your Hotel Air Conditioned?"

              All Apartments have air-conditioning for your comfort.

  •  "Do you have internet facilities from your hotel?"

              All of our rooms and apartments have High Speed Broadband Access - brought to you by Azure. They also have a phone line available for the dial-up facility. www.azure.com.au  

  • "How often will my room be serviced?"

               Your room will be serviced daily Monday to Saturday by our Housekeeping Staff.  Rooms are not serviced on Sundays or Public Holidays.  Linen will be changed on major services weekly.  If you require extra services or any extra items - please contact reception. NOTE: Rooms will not be serviced if the Do Not Disturb sign is placed on the door.

  • "Is Linen provided?"

                 All linen is provided for you, however if you do require any extra items, please feel free to contact reception.

  • "Are there Minibars in all rooms? Can I have it removed if we don't wish to use it?"

                There are Minibars in all of our rooms and apartments. These items will be replaced daily and added to your room account as you use them. There is a price list of all items in your room. If you do not wish to use the minibar and would like it removed, please just let us know prior to your arrival, and we will have it removed for you.

  • "Are there Hair Dryers in the rooms or apartments?"

                Yes, all our rooms and apartments contain Hair Dryers in the bathroom.

  • "Are there Washing and/or Ironing Facilites in the room or apartments?"

                 All Apartments, (not studios) have in room laundries with washers & dryers and you can purchase washing powder from reception if neccessary. All our rooms and apartments contain their own Ironing Board and Iron. There is a washing machine and dryer available for guests staying in Studio Rooms located on the ground floor.
